Teardown analysis of a 2430W server power supply shows the output-control stage using 12 Infineon BSC010NE2LS OptiMOS N-channel MOSFETs — ten distributed across the front and rear of the PCBA plus two more in auxiliary output-control positions. The 25V-rated device offers 1.0mΩ maximum on-resistance (0.8mΩ typical at VGS=10V/ID=30A; 1.3mΩ maximum at VGS=4.5V), a 242A continuous drain current rating at 25°C (153A at 100°C), 968A pulsed drain current, 1.3K/W junction-to-case thermal resistance and a 150°C maximum junction temperature in a PG-TDSON-8 package sized for multi-device parallel layouts. The supply takes 200-240V AC or 190-290V DC input and delivers 12.5V/200A main plus 12V/2.5A standby output (2430W rated) using an interleaved PFC + phase-shifted full-bridge + synchronous-rectification topology, with PFC controllers, gate drivers, standby IC and isolation devices on the rear of the board. Paralleling low-RDS(on) MOSFETs cuts equivalent path resistance and conduction loss on the low-voltage/high-current rail — the standard approach as AI-server PSUs push past 2kW.
