Teardown Report: 65W 3-in-1 Portable Charger With GaN QR+SR Adapter and 10,500mAh Battery
2026-09-28 · Compiled by Best IT Parts from public industry reporting
A 3-in-1 device that doubles as a wall adapter, a power bank and a retractable USB-C cable has been torn down. Model AP03-10K is rated 10,500mAh / 3.7V / 38.85Wh with 100-240Vac input and swappable US, UK and EU plug modules. Charging over Type-C reaches 30W (20V/1.5A); output is 65W (20V/3.25A) on the Type-C port and on the built-in cable, while USB-A delivers 22.5W. Shared output is documented as 45W + 20W, 45W + 18W, or 45W + 5V/3A with three ports active. Negotiated protocols include PD3.0/PPS, UFCS, QC3+, QC5, FCP, SCP and AFC. It measures 123.34 x 47.19 x 45.28mm and weighs 346g.
The mains stage is a quasi-resonant flyback with secondary-side synchronous rectification. The primary controller is a DK8065 that integrates a 700V GaN switch and its driver, applies valley detection with valley lock, reaches 200kHz switching and holds standby draw below 50mW in a PDFN8x8 package. A DK100R10VN synchronous rectifier with an integrated 100V NMOS in DFN5x6 replaces the Schottky diode. The input bridge is a World MSB40JL rated 600V / 4A, and the high-voltage rail uses 400V capacitors of 39µF and 33µF behind a 0.22µF X2 part.
The battery side uses three series 18650 cells rated 3,500mAh at 3.7V, protected by a CM1332-DAT three-cell protection IC in TSSOP16. Charge and discharge run through an iSmartWare SW7201 four-switch bidirectional buck-boost controller supporting one to four cells and up to 100W over I2C, alongside SW6301 (4-26V input, up to 100W, QFN5x5-40) and SW6303 power-bank SoCs. A Puya PY32F030 MCU (64KB flash, 8KB SRAM, QFN32) handles system logic and the display. A 2.2µH inductor sits in the buck-boost stage, and the removable cable module connects through a five-pin contact array.
