Teardown: Momax Q.Pass IP116AS 19.05Wh Ultra-Slim Magnetic Wireless Power Bank โ€” NU6802 and NU17103 Inside

2026-10-12 ยท Compiled by Best IT Parts from public industry reporting

The Momax Q.Pass IP116AS is an ultra-slim magnetic wireless power bank built around a 4920mAh cell rated 19.05Wh, and it ships certified to China's mandatory GB 47372-2026 safety standard (3C certificate 2026010914888413, issued 14 August 2026). The body measures 104.20mm long, 68.72mm wide and 8.30mm thick, with a net weight of 128.0g; the magnetic array docks onto the back of a phone while clearing the rear camera module.

The single USB-C port accepts 5V/3A and 9V/2A input, and outputs 5V/2.4A, 9V/2.22A or 12V/1.67A. Wireless output steps through 5W, 7.5W, 10W and 15W, with a 15W total system limit. A POWER-Z KM003C reported support for QC3.0, FCP, AFC, PD3.0/PPS, QC4+, DCP, Samsung 5V/2A and Apple 2.4A; PDOs cover 5V/2.4A, 9V/2.22A and 12V/1.67A plus PPS ranges of 5.00-5.90V/3A and 5.00-11.00V/2A. Measured into an iPhone 17 Pro Max the charger held 12.09V at 1.60A, or 19.39W.

Inside, the cell is a COSMX CA476489F-Q1 rated 4920mAh. The charging stage uses a NuVolta NU6802 switching charger in a QFN30 package, specified for a 4.4V-13V VBUS range with 95.5% buck efficiency at 9V/2A and 95% reverse-boost efficiency, covering PD3.1 PPS and Qi2.0 MPP TX. The wireless power-bank SoC is a NuVolta NU17103 (NU171XX family) in QFN47, with a 32-bit MCU core, low-resistance full-bridge MOSFETs, 15W MPP pass-through and integrated PD, QC3.0 and UFCS protocols. A 30V, 7.9mohm Eternal ET6300 PDFN3333 MOSFET switches the wireless resonant capacitor, battery protection comes from a CM1003-BHS IC in SOT23-6, and an NTC thermistor tracks pack temperature. A separate MCU handles app interaction and logs the cell model and batch that the standard requires.
