Great Wall GW-CRPS3000L5R 3000W Platinum Server PSU — Infineon BSC070N10NS3G Handles 54V/55A Synchronous Rectification

Great Wall's GW-CRPS3000L5R server power supply uses Infineon's BSC070N10NS3G MOSFET at two very different power levels: several devices in parallel handle 54V/55A synchronous rectification on the 3000W main rail, while a single device works with a Monolithic Power Systems MP6902 controller in the 12V auxiliary supply.

The unit accepts 100-240V AC and 240V HVDC input. At 210-240V AC or 240V DC the main output is rated 54V/55A for a maximum 3000W, alongside a 12V/2A standby output. It follows the CRPS form factor with a gold-finger connector and hot-swap support, and uses bridgeless PFC on the AC side, a full-bridge LLC stage and synchronous rectification. Inside are two PFC boost inductors, two transformer groups and two power daughter boards that spread the switching devices across multiple PCBs; synchronous rectifier MOSFETs sit on both sides of the daughter boards so several devices share the current and heat of the 54V/55A output.

The main-rail rectifiers are BSC070N10NS3G devices driven by Texas Instruments UCC27211A drivers. Paralleling several MOSFETs lowers the equivalent on-resistance of the rectification stage and distributes conduction losses across devices. The same part replaces conventional rectifier diodes in the 12V standby supply.

The BSC070N10NS3G is a 100V N-channel MOSFET from Infineon's OptiMOS 3 family in a PG-TDSON-8 package. Typical on-resistance is 6.3mΩ with a 7mΩ maximum at VGS = 10V and 50A drain current. Continuous drain current is 92A with 368A pulsed, and typical total gate charge is 42nC. The 100V rating leaves headroom above the 54V rail for switching spikes, the low on-resistance suits multi-device paralleling, and the 42nC gate charge keeps driver loading moderate.
